Tea Connoisseur

So I had a few dreams the other night but in the one I can remember best I was in a class for learning about tea and tea etiquette, kind of like wine tasting I guess but the most exciting part was everyone picking out their mug or tea cup, I chose a mug but I can't remember what it looked like. And then for some reason from there it turned into a painting class while I stood there drinking tea. Ellie was working on a painting of a landscape with houses and green pastures but she was having trouble with her shading and making sure the light was all coming from the same direction. So while our teacher who seemed familiar but I can't remember who it was but not Ms McCallum. Well, he was next to the easel trying to help and I was there drinking tea from my mug and making snide remarks which caused the teacher to glare at me like he was the devil but I couldn't seem to stop myself from saying all these snotty things as I sipped on tea and started flailing and splashing it about as I wouldn't back down. And from there the dream kind of meshed into a dream where there was a knock on the door and my mum telling me that we were leaving exactly on 8 o'clock and then nothing...

The lady in white.

I was on a train, talking to a pretty, middle aged Asian lady who was dressed in creams and whites. We were discussing something to do with a hotline/registration for a phone hotline for Long QT Syndrome. The train line we were on was similar to the north shore line, heading from Gordon into the city. I got off at Milsons Point (except the station in my head was much MUCH fancier and prettier. It was all glass and like a giant pretty greenhouse). But then I was suddenly talking to people from the government/spy people and they were questioning me about my conversation with the lady on the train. She and I had been discussing the hotline and how it was difficult to remember all the codes you had to punch in, so I offered her the slip of paper that had the code for Long QT Syndrome on it, since I already had it written down in my diary. At the time I didn't think there was anything wrong with it, but once I was talking to these government type guys, I started having flashes of her being all secretive and menacing, and it was suddenly a really horrible thing for her to have the code to register Long QT Syndrome on the phone line. (It wasn't a personal identification code or anything, just the generic code so the phone like could direct you to the appropriate section and for data collection).
My dream self was split between being convinced that this lady was doing something bad, and wanting to get all spy adventure on her butt, and the other half of me knowing that the information I gave her wasn't that important or secret, and it wasn't bad that she had it, and was really scared that I was so easily convinced she was evil.
I remember describing her to one the government people, and trying to phrase it without mentioning ethnicity. It came out as a really generic description of: 'a lady with dark hair in a creamy white pant suit.'

Saving it for later.

I don't remember when I dreamed it, or anything else from the dream, other than there was something seriously wrong with my foot.
It was like my foot had grown over a straw, running down the outside of my right sole, and then the straw had been removed leaving a hollow tube.
It was really painful and wrapped in cling wrap.

Diving Contest

I had a dream that I was in a friendly diving competition. There was a pair of springboards set up on the ocean shore, but somehow it was deep enough for everyone to be diving into. So my team was losing really badly and then its my turn to dive and in my mind I know I'm a super good diver (which is absolute rubbish because I don't even like to go swimming). But the crowd around me is all go "choke, choke, choke!" like on 8 mile when Eminem goes to rap, and I'm ignoring that but I'm struggling to get up on the dive board because there doesn't to be a ladder but its not so far off the ground that you can't reach it. Anyway I manage to get up there eventually and once I'm up I spend a really long time bouncing on the springboard trying to get the right rhythm and then when I'm ready I bounce and shoot up and kinda just fall into the water from height. It's a prettty crappy dive but it's more impressive than everyone elses because they're all doing just a normal pool dive that you'd do on a starting block. And then after that it gets kinda blurry I think I'm swimming a bit and then it just ends.

Keeping it in the family.

30/06/2011: Waning Crescent, 1% full.

Sam and Jordon were having their wedding out the front of our high school. Very lovely ceremony, if a bit strange to have the bus stop in the background of all their wedding photos.
In the time after the wedding, it turned into more of a family event with my mum's side of the family.
I was hanging out with my cousins, and then quite suddenly they started getting really angry.
Apparently one of my cousins had started dating my ex-uncle (aunt's ex-husband) who isn't the best character.
I didn't believe them at first, but then the cousin in question came over and started bragging about how she had slept with ex-uncle (important to stress there is no blood relation here to try and redeem my cousin's imagined actions) 6 nights ago.
Another one of my aunts, who didn't look like my aunt but I instinctively knew it was her, came and stood beside me, her anger barely controlled. In a very strained voice she asked to speak with my cousin. They flounced off, my cousin sticking out her tongue and generally being a twat as they walked off, while her mother half heartedly told her to stop it and be respectful.
While all this was happening though, there was a subplot which involved me blowing my nose repeatedly, but not being able to clear it. It kept being blocked up and runny. My aunts were teasing me about it, and commenting on the inefficient way in which I was blowing my nose. Then I woke up and needed to blow my nose.
